Stuart Marine Corp. boats are time proven, well built, fairly priced, and always in demand; and reliably hold their value as used boats.

Used boats are listed by Stuart Marine for sale at their original selling prices, and prospective buyers are encouraged to make offers. Our sellers decide what prices they will accept.

Each used Stuart boat in our yard is inspected prior to sale, complete as listed, and presented in good sailing condition.

Documents delivered by the Seller

• certificate of origin; or title - boat

• certificate of origin; or title - trailer

• proof of sales tax payment; or expired state registration - boat

• proof of sales tax payment; or expired state registration - trailer

The Stuart Marine check for proceeds from the sale will be mailed from escrow to the Seller after all sales documents are delivered to the Buyer, and written confirmation of acceptance by local authorities for titling and registration is received by Stuart Marine from the Buyer.

Stuart Marine Corp. offers the details of these boats in good faith, but cannot guarantee or warrant the accuracy of this information nor warrant the condition of the vessel.

A buyer should instruct his agents or his surveyors or his legal counsel to investigate such details as the buyer desires validated.

These vessels are offered subject to prior sale, price change, or withdrawal without notice.

After deciding to work with Stuart Marine for the sale of your boat, please send boat and personal information to include:

• builder, model and year

• specifications (if other than Rhodes 19 or Mariner sailboat)

• hull and/or sail numbers

• equipment options & inventory

• boat pictures (very important)

• asking price

• your contact information

If you would like to sell the boat from your yard, also include or contact us with your credit card number information.

If you wish to sell the boat from our yard, please confirm your anticipated pick-up or delivery date to Stuart Marine.

Stuart Marine Corp. Terms for Boat Brokerage and Sale

When a Boat is Sold from the Stuart Marine Yard

• Stuart Marine will earn a 20% sales commission based on the selling price of the boat or $1000; the maximum of either.

• The commission is paid from funds collected from the sale.

• The commission is earned upon the satisfactory completion of the sale.

• Stuart Marine will contact and work directly with prospective buyers.

• Upon receipt of an offer from a prospective buyer, Stuart Marine will ask the seller to accept, reject or counter the offer. The seller will determine the selling price of the boat.

• Boat listing with Stuart Marine is non-exclusive, and may be cancelled at anytime.

• The seller’s boat must be presented for sale in good sailing condition.

• Stuart built boats may be re-warranted for one year when sold from the Stuart Marine yard for their original selling price.

• When a boat is sold from the Stuart Marine yard, "uncharged services" may include a yard survey; boat cleaning; summer storage, covering & display; and sales documentation.

• "Charged services" are due at the time of sale, and may include boat transportation; original equipment replacement; detailing; and the repairs of the sails, motor, and trailer.

• When a boat is to be removed from the Stuart Marine yard prior to sale by Stuart Marine, all services (including storage, covering & display) are due and payable immediately.

When a Boat is Sold from the Owner’s Yard

• Stuart Marine will earn a 10% sales commission based on the listing price of the boat or $500; the maximum of either.

• The commission is pre-qualified at the time of listing with a credit card number & expiration date.

• The commission is earned upon the satisfactory completion of the sale.

• Stuart Marine will send prospect buyers’ information to the seller, and the seller will contact and work directly with prospective buyers.

• Boat listing with Stuart Marine is non-exclusive, and may be cancelled at anytime.
