1988 Starwing Point Jude Sailboat w/ Sails & Trailer
1988 Starwing Point Jude Sailboat with main & jib sails, outboard bracket, and trailer.
Paperwork is required and included for out-of-state registrations of this boat and trailer.
Our recent factory refurbishment included, but was not limited to:
Main & jib sails were sent to our loft for wash, check, repair, and storage
Fiberglass hull, deck, and interior surfaces were detailed with power wash, compound, finesse-it, and wax
Locker openings (3) were trimmed with cuddy welt
Teak and mahogany coamings, rub rails, trunk cap, outboard bracket, and hardware mounting blocks were varnished with several coats of Captain’s gloss
Rudder & tiller were disassembled, varnished, and reassembled with a new rudder hold-down pennant
New forward and reverse ratcheting winch and stainless steel pennant cable were installed for the centerboard controls
Mast, boom and standing rigging were power washed, solvent cleaned, inspected and lubricated
Running rigging halyards and sheets were inspected and replaced as necessary.
New drain plugs (3) and hardware access deck plates (3) were installed
The owner recently painted the hull sides with Brightside polyurethane and serviced the trailer for safety including the lights, tires & wheels, bearings, coupler hitch, safety chains, mast rack and ratchet tie-down strap

The historically popular Point Jude daysailing sailboat was designed in 1946 by Edson Schock; and 1,200+ boats have been built.
The Point Jude 15 is stable, safe and comfortable with her 525 pound hull displacement and modest 136 square foot of main & jib sail area.
The hard-chined hull offers reliably flat and dry boat sailing.
