This is a one-owner boat which was ordered after the October 1997 Annapolis Powerboat Show.

We built and delivered her to the owner at the Chesapeake Yacht Club in Shadyside, MD, in May 1998.

The boat was used for twenty-fours years as a sailing tender to a much larger powerboat when the owner was enjoying extensive cruising in the South Atlantic and Caribbean waters.

The owner shared numerous stories of his family's escapades with the boat; and was particularly impressed with this boat's survival through several hurricanes, including one from which his large powerboat never fully recovered.  

We bought this JC 9 back from her original owner who is now living in a beautiful waterfront community in coastal NC, but no longer boating.

We have completely factory-refurbished this sailing dinghy.

She is offered now in good condition and ready for adventuring with a new family. . . for many years to come.
