This classically styled fixed keel (fin keel) Rhodes 19 is a great day sailer for up to six people and spirited one-design racer - when raced on Sunapee it was competitive with Star class boats. Sail number 1466 on mains and spinnaker. She has lived on a trailer since 2014 and sailed primarily on Lakes Champlain & Sunapee with one salt water trip. Prior to that she was moored in Long Island Sound and presumably raced there.

This boat, circa 1972, is retro green decked (some crazing and repairs) with "Blue-Glo White" (really a white color with a hint of blue) Totalboat topside paint and Totalboat "Sea Foam" color bottom. Navy blue boot stripe. The hull was reconditioned in 2017 - sanded to fiberglass and repainted. Keel sanded to metal and painted with rust inhibiting paint. New rudder and tiller (2017), three Rush fenders, three mainsails - two with rope bead (good), one with cars (fair). One hank-on jib & sheets. One spinnaker, sheets, deck hardware and pole. One outboard motor mount. One hand bilge pump piped to above water-line through hull. One ~8lb Danforth style anchor with approx 100 feet of rode - anchor mount and feed hole for rode storage on fore deck. Wiring and battery tiedown in place for 12 volt electronic system (for a bilge pump or phone charging system) with solar panel for battery maintenance.  Refinished cockpit combing and floorboards. Ribs are original and have been reinforced and preserved with wood petrifier. Keel bolts were inspected and in good condition. Comes with air horn, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, whistle, brush, boarding ladder, drain plug, anchor stabilizing drogue, Cunningham, two throw cushions, 1 larger thwart cushion. Jib, main, spinnaker and topping lift halyards. Dock lines and one old oar.

Trailer is custom for this boat with 20' tongue extension for launching with 2" receiver. Flat four wiring harness to LED tail lights. Boat is ~1,300 lbs, trailer ~700 lbs. Low mileage tires (2017) and two spare tire/wheels. Tongue weight approximately 500 lbs.

This boat is a beauty - it gets compliments and is very fast. It is easy to trailer given low center of gravity.
